10 more smiles: how the body-based therapy course went

The course ended in June with body-oriented therapy “Feel yourself: your body language”, conducted by psychologist Alyona. During 12 meetings The participants didn't just do exercises - they searched for themselves. They learned to build their own boundaries, better understand their bodies, and with them their emotions. They also improved their relationships with loved ones and learned to be closer to themselves.
Why is this important? 🫶🏻
Does your body tense up when you hear a siren? Is it hard to focus when there's a constant noise inside from anxiety, anger, fatigue? All of this is normal. It's an experience that many teenagers are having right now. And one in which it's very easy to lose yourself.
That's why we created this course - to help you understand what happens to you when emotions become too much. How to get out of this state - gently, without pressure. Where your personal boundaries are. And how to learn to be with yourself even when there's a storm inside. We looked for answers not in advice, but in what your body feels. And also:
▪️ We moved a lot — sometimes funny, sometimes unexpected, but always in our own way.
▪️ We breathed in a way that let go of anxiety at least a little.
▪️ We learned to feel when “enough is enough” — and how to say it gently.
▪️ We searched for exactly where fatigue, anger, and fear were hiding in the body.
▪️ And they found a way - not to run away, but to be with it.
Thoughts and feelings of the participants 🤩
🟠 “This course was very important for me because I understood many things that I hadn’t understood for years. This is not just a course for entertainment, but a place where we heal our spiritual wounds, understand where we were wrong. It was important for me to understand my body, who I am, and what I want to achieve in my life.”
🟠 “You come and realize that you are supported here, you are safe and you can confide your thoughts to someone else. It is very reassuring and gives hope.”
🟠 “I came to the course with a desire to understand myself, because alone I could not accept my thoughts and myself. I was able to hear the stories of others and understand myself more deeply. I saw how you can defend your boundaries, which was a problem for me. I was also able to make friends not only with myself, but also find real friends who now support and help me.”
🟠 “Now I understand my body and emotions much better. I found new friends and received positive emotions. A place of Power is a place where you want to be yourself and open up.”
