Learn to manage your life: register for a mindfulness course at the Place of Power

Is stress eating away at your life? Are emotions taking over? We have a solution for you! The course starts on May 6 at 5:00 PM "Mindfulness: Take Control of Your Life", which will change your perception of the world.
What is Mindfulness and why should you try it?
Mindfulness isn’t about sitting on a mat and meditating (although that’s cool too!), it’s about being mindful of yourself, your friends, and the world around you. In the classes, you’ll learn how to manage your emotions and make the best decisions in different situations. Imagine that after the course you’ll be able to:
😌 Stay calm before the test.
🧠 Memorize information faster.
🔋 Don't get exhausted from constant news and anxiety.
🌈 Notice the great moments even on difficult days.
Simply put, you become the captain of your ship, not a passenger tossed by waves of emotions!
Cool exercises you'll try on the course
- Glitter Jar — you will create a magical jar of glitter. When you shake it, the glitter flies in all directions, just like the thoughts in your head when you are nervous. And then… they gradually settle. This is how your emotions work too — if you give them time, they calm down!
- Mindful walking — you will learn to look at familiar things in a new way, feel smells, textures, sounds... And you will realize how much cool stuff you missed before!
- Gratitude Diary — your personal secret diary where you will collect moments for which you can say “thank you.” Even when it seems like the day was terrible, you will be able to find something great.
These exercises will not only help you stay calm when everyone around you is panicking, but they will also help you understand yourself better. And this, you must admit, is a very important skill in our complex world!
Who will teach this superpower?
The course will be taught by psychologist Olga Khairulina, who studied meditation with professional teacher Gaia Logan, who combines mindfulness with a deep understanding of psychology and neuroscience.
“She taught me that meditation is not about escaping reality, but about the ability to stay with yourself in any circumstances, with an open heart,” Olga shares.
Olga decided to share her experience with teenagers because she sees how many of them live in constant tension today. She is sure that mindfulness and meditation help you find a place of peace, quiet, and inner support within yourself. It becomes a way to remind yourself: “I am here, I am alive, I can endure.”
