The first summer camp in the Place of Power: the magical world of Alice in Wonderland

The first summer camp in the City of Power became an incredible experience for 26 teenagers, who immersed themselves in the creative process and created an amazing performance. The week was filled with unforgettable moments, new knowledge and impressions. Every day brought something new and exciting, young people revealed their abilities and talents and plunged into the world of art. Let's take a closer look at what exactly happened every day at this magical camp.

A busy Monday, which laid the foundation for further work

Monday at the camp began with a gathering in the space at 11 o'clock, where all the teenagers met, got to know each other and received introductory instructions. In the first half of the day there was a class with acting skills, where participants learned to express emotions, work with voice and body. After the break, everyone went to scenario workshop, where together with teachers they discussed ideas for the future performance, wrote dialogues and created a plot. This activity gave them the opportunity to develop their skills in script writing and teamwork. Then the participants gathered at training with public speaking expert Lada. She shared tips and techniques that helped teenagers confidently speak in front of large audiences. The first day of summer camp is over watching the movie "Alice in Wonderland", who inspired everyone in the creative process and helped to better understand the atmosphere of the upcoming performance.

The second day, filled with new knowledge, creative ideas and inspiration

Tuesday began with planning the day and discussing impressions from previous classes. On this day, the second acting class was waiting for the teenagers. They continued to work on emotional expression, improvisation and stage interaction. Exercises and games helped them relax and open up. After lunch, the participants returned to the scenario workshop, where they added details and developed the plot of the upcoming play. Everyone got to see their ideas come to life on paper. The long-awaited event took place on Tuesday an inspiring meeting with actress Maria Grechikhina. She shared her knowledge and experience of working in theater and cinema, told about the secrets of successful acting and answered the questions of inquisitive teenagers. Her stories and advice inspired the camp visitors to new creative achievements!

Creative workshop with the creation of costumes and decorations

On Wednesday, the teenagers attended another acting class, where they focused on character development and interaction on stage. After lunch, the participants continued to work on the script of the play. Discussing plot details, editing dialogue and adding new ideas made this time productive and creative. Participants saw their ideas take shape and become part of the bigger picture. After the class, the teenagers gathered in the art zone of the space where the stage began creation of scenery and costumes. They should have realized their artistic talents and created fantastic scenery and original costumes for the play "Alice in the Wild". This process united them in joint creative activity and added a special charm to the preparation of the play. The participants were able to feel themselves as real artists.

A long-awaited class with a choreography teacher 

The morning of the fourth day of the camp traditionally began with an acting class. The participants continued to improve their acting skills and worked on the expressiveness of movements, facial expressions and interaction on stage. These exercises helped them better embody their roles and feel confident on stage. After the break, it's time creation of props. Teenagers actively worked on making the necessary items for the performance. The creative activity allowed everyone to contribute to the preparation of the performance. After the workshop, the first thing awaited the teenagers choreography classes, where they learned the dance moves that became part of the performance. Choreography added dynamics and beauty to the performance and made it more exciting.

The fifth day: approaching the final result

Friday began with a class that combined choreography and vocals. Teenagers worked on coordinating dance movements with vocal numbers. This activity helped them to better feel the rhythm and harmony between movements and singing. After the break took place an inspiring meeting with sign language interpreter Anfisa Bolduseva. She shared her own experience and showed how important it is to make art accessible to everyone. Teenagers learned a lot about the world of sign language and the importance of inclusiveness in creative projects. After the meeting, the participants gathered at discussion club "How not to be ashamed of public speaking?". They discussed methods of overcoming fear in front of the audience and received useful advice from the psychologist of the space. This helped the teenagers better prepare for future performances and increased their self-confidence.

The combination of all elements into one whole

On the penultimate day of the camp, teenagers gathered at final class in acting, where they honed their roles, worked on their expressiveness and confidence on stage, and prepared for their big performance. After the break, the rehearsal began with the display of scenery, choreography and vocals. Participants worked on coordination and harmony of movements. This stage allowed them to see the whole picture of the performance and make the necessary adjustments. After the rehearsal, the teenagers actively worked on completion of costume production and added the final touches. The penultimate day of the camp was productive and important, the participants were full of enthusiasm and ready to showcase their talents in the final performance.

The last day of the camp: the magical world of Alice in the Wilderness

From early in the morning, the teenagers gathered to check the costumes, adjust the scenery and rehearse the key moments of the play. After the final rehearsal, the long-awaited moment came - performance "Alice in Wildland". Spectators were parents, friends and teachers who were eagerly waiting for this event. The teenagers brilliantly showed their acting, choreographic and vocal abilities, taking everyone into the magical world of Alice. Their efforts and joint work turned into a bright and unforgettable performance, which gave the audience a sea of positive emotions, and parents - pride for their children!
